TARI: Waste Tax
Citizens and firms have to pay TARI tax for the waste disposal service. It is paid if one occupies or owns premises (eg house, office, shop, warehouse, ...) or open areas used as operating areas. For citizens, the tax is calculated based on floor area and the number of family members. For businesses it is calculated based on business premises area and the type of activity.
